As most of you know I am playing softball this summer, and I plan to you up on our progress or lack there of...I hope to take some photos, preferably embarrassing, or otherwise funny in nature, so I can post them here for all to enjoy...While I am no sports reporter, I will post information on any amazing play we may have, or anything worth while that may happen during the post game sessions...

Our season goes from May 10 through August 9, but only contains 14 games...Which is good because we are going to need the recovery time between games...All our games are on Rotary Field at Hoppe Park in Edwardsville, IL...Our schedule is as follows:

Rained out...First game of the season rained out...We are off to a blazing start to the season...Hopefully this will give us another chance to practice and polish our skills...Not to mention we will hopefully not be missing a couple of our female players which we will need to fill our the line-up...Hey and maybe we can get our uniforms before our next time...So, as we ramp up for our second-first game wish us luck...Not so much luck to win, but luck to not get hurt and not make a fool of ourselves...

Our second, first game of the season, I think we all wished got rained out...Our bats were dead, and defense was not exactly up to par...All I know is first baseman Kyle Harrison has given up catching my throws...It was a quick and painless loss, at 10-0 in the 5th inning it was called before we made a further fool of ourselves...

Let me start off by saying MOJO's WINS!!!We started the game off with a couple of runs in the first inning to give us the early lead...Defense was great! and our whole line up is hitting the ball...Our outfielders weren't used to playing under the lights, but still defense was looking good...We let a few runs in while our second pitcher Tim Carter got settled in, but be for you know it the game was over 12-7 in the 6th, called due to time limit...Now that our first win in under our belt I think we can push forward to more wins for Mojo's Music...

Ouch...Mojo's tried the same line-up as last week with less than stellar results...The final result was a 23-2 loss for Mojo's Music...The post game on the other hand was just enough cute entertainment from our biggest fan, Mallory, to get our minds off the loss...Heads up for next week...

What a game for Mojo's, only proble was it was a one run loss to the Cold as Ice team...A low scoring game 6-7 after 6 innings, and Mojo's takes their 3rd loss of the season...Both teams were laking offensive help, but the defense was solid making for a great game...
